About the wine
With the delicious Cartuxa brut Reserva from 2011, you will positively surprise your friends. The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Adega da Cartuxa has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the picturesque and sunny landscape of the Alentejo.
Tasting note
Strong clear golden yellow with active blistering. On the nose, aromas of citrus fruits, white flowers, toast and brioche notes. Melty palate opening with fine perlage, the brioch note is repeated, the finish is long and dry.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, foie gras, saltwater fish.
Vinification
A sparkling wine from Arinto made using the traditional method blanc de blanc. Fermented in French oak barrels and aged on the lees for 6 months. After bottling, the sparkling wine is stored on the yeast for another 5 years.
