About the wine
With this dominant red wine 2019 — Casale Vecchio Montepulciano d'Abbruzzo DOC Farnese, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Blooming and fertile landscapes of Abruzzo give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Fantini conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Montepulciano is ideal to serve with hard cheese or lamb.
Tasting note
Dense dark red with purple reflections. With its aromas, which are reminiscent of black berries, plums, junipers, and are complemented by fine spices and licorice, it is ideal for the game season. With mature tannin, you can tell that the grapes were caressed by warming rays of the sun.
