About the wine
With the delicious Cava Gran Reserva brut, you will positively surprise your friends. You can describe nature in Catalonia with words like sparse. However, the Spanish winery Agustí Torelló Mata is trying to express the beauty of its home country with this sparkling wine. We think he succeeded!
Tasting note
In the glass, the cava shimmers like white gold. Flavours of white peach, roasted nuts and brioche. Balanced acidity on the finish, long aftertaste with a buttery note.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, pork, saltwater fish and soft cheese.
Vinification
Made from traditional grape varieties: 38% Macabeo, 28% Xarel-lo and 34% Parellada. This cava is made using the same method as champagne. It is stored on the yeast for at least 48 months.
