Scent of ripe yellow fruit, nice woody notes. Monumental but very fine on the palate, acid power, a lot of cool melt, chalky, whitish, white pears, apricots, honey vanilla notes, flowers, lots of mouth-filling finesse and large dimensions. It's very dry. Salty minerality despite the large volume... Very, very long in the aftermath. Great Burgundy vintage. Great aging potential. This wine is in no way inferior to many layers of Mersault! Brilliant price/pleasure ratio.
