About the wine

This Cabernet Sauvignon draws its strength and energy from the gravelly soils south of the city of Bordeaux. The winemaker from the French winery Château Haut-Bailly transforms it into a real treat with great sensitivity. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Cabernet Sauvignon with pizza with mushrooms or ribeye steak.

Tasting note
Das bleibt in Erinnerung: Sein sattes Rubinrot verleiht jedem Anlass eine besondere Note. Das verspielte Duftspektrum von Fruchtkompott, Gewürzen und Tabak zeigt vielschichtige Aromastruktur und viel Finesse. Die dominanten Noten von schwarzer Kirsche, schwarzer Pflaume und schwarzem Pfeffer gestalten ihre individuelle Textur. Kräftiger Körper und dominante Säure ergeben den fruchtigen Rotwein, welcher angenehm mit feinen Tanninen im Mund viel Charakter und Klasse zeigt. Dieser Top-Wein bekam die Auszeichnung: 94/100 Punkte James Suckling.
Culinary recommendation
Der Wein sollte in diesem Zeitraum genossen werden: 2019 – 2040. Zu Gruyère Burger, rotem Fleisch und Pizza mit Pilzen empfehlen Ihnen die Flaschenpöstler.
