About the wine

The winemaker from the French winery Château L'Ermitage greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside of the Côtes du Rhône. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this mild Viognier 2018 Château l'Ermitage Blanc St.Cécile. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Viognier with roasted poultry with lemon sauce or potatoes.

Tasting note
Fine pale yellow. Aromas of hazelnuts and puff pastry, which is aged in barriques. Fruit aromas of pears, peaches and lychees. Rich and long on the palate, with excellent balance and good acidity.
Culinary recommendation
It is a delicious accompaniment to white meat or fish with a cream-based sauce. Also very suitable as an aperitif and with puff pastry starters.
