About the wine
A special symbol on the label is a small sage plant that alludes to the floral and herbal notes of this grape variety.
Tasting note
Brillante, fast schon schwarze Farbe, die Nase begeistert, mit ausgeprägten balsamischen Noten, einem Hauch Anis, Minze und Schokolade (After Eight). Am Gaumen zeigt der Petit Verdot eine gut integrierte und reife Frucht. Die frische Säure und die süss-würzigen Tannine ziehen lange nach.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pepper steaks, game dishes or Tuscan crostini.
Vinification
Gärung im Stahltank für ca. 15 bis 20 Tage, bei Temperaturen von höchstens 26°C. 24 Monate Ausbau in neuen Barriques Fässern.
