About the wine
A very special selection. Only grapes from the best locations in Malans get into this selection. After harvesting, the grapes are macerated for 8 to 10 days. After slight heating, fermentation takes place using home-grown yeast. The ageing takes place in French barriques for 12 months. The earliest release of a wine marked reserve is 18 months from November 1 of the year of production.
Tasting note
Dark red color. The nose is complex with scents of black currants, vanilla and tobacco. Pleasantly rich fruit combined with a fine woody note on the palate. The finish is tobacco, very long-lasting.
