About the wine
Fertile and blooming landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Sarotto conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. If you want to surprise a wine connoisseur, then with this mild red wine 2016 — Dolcetto d'Alba DOC R. Sarotto M.O! Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This dolcetto can be served very well with mushroom risotto or white meat.
Tasting note
Iridescent ruby with strong garnet reflections. Clear, typical grape variety aromas of violets, ripe bromine and blueberries, finely vegetal, delicate notes such as goût de goudron, cocoa, cinnamon smoke. Soft, elegant and full-bodied, distinctive aromas on the palate, fine mineral notes, elegant body, beautiful fruit. Very vinous, it's fun when you drink it young.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with venison and spicy dishes.
