About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Rioja Vega has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque and beautiful landscape of the Upper Ebro. With the present Tempranillo 2009 — Gran Reserva Rioja DOCA, nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Tempranillo with barbecue or polenta.

Tasting note
Dense ruby red. On the nose, an elegant aroma of black berries and spices. Ripe tannin structure, full-bodied, elegant, complex and with a lot of sustainability.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Gran Reserva Rioja DOCA goes perfectly with barbecue, lasagna and polenta. Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 18°-20°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: at least 9 years.
Vinification
Traditional vinification. 3 years aging in selected American wooden barrels. Another 2 years on the bottle.
