About the wine
Tenuta Castello di Grumello is located in the heart of the hills of Bergamo, between Bergamo and Lake Iseo. It is a winery of about 37 hectares with the limestone-based loamy soil. The hill benefits from a microclimate that is particularly suitable for growing fine vines. The company is now run by the third generation of the Milanese family Reschigna Kettlitz, who acquired the property in 1953, who brought new energy and dynamism to achieve ever better quality winemaking. The Castello is an intense and flavorful Valcalepio DOC. With his strong personality, he recalls the Bergamo region and its traditions, highlighting the hard work in the vineyard and the quality of the grapes. It is aged in oak barrels and refined in the bottle to ensure elegance and complexity of aromas and flavors. Great for a hearty lunch with family or friends.
