About the wine

The winery can look back on an eventful history. But it wasn't until Jens Reidel and Christine Dinse took over the estate in 2009, made Karsten Peter a winemaker and turned everything upside down on their feet that they picked up the glorious period from the 1960s to the 1980s. Gut Hermannsberg only owns large growing sites and there is hardly a winery in Germany that has such an abundance and variety of top locations. Even the entry-level Riesling shows unequivocally that this potential is being fully exploited. This is no longer a secret and Gut Hermannsberg is almost overwhelmed with praise, points and awards.
