About the wine
This Chardonnay draws its strength and energy from the loamy, shale soils in Burgundy. The winemaker from the French winery Faiveley transforms it into a real treat with great sensitivity. If you want to surprise a wine connoisseur, then with this dominant Chardonnay 2019 — Ladoix Les Marnes Blanches! The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Chardonnay with goat cheese or truffles.
Tasting note
The eye reveals a pale yellow glow with greenish reflections. The bouquet exudes nuances of ripe pear, fresh brioche and white spring blossoms. Chardonnay also brings finesse-rich mineral notes to the nose. Right after the first sip, Chardonnay shows its elegant and delicate character. Pear, brioche and roasted almonds come together on the tongue. In the long aftertaste, the Ladoix remains lively and wonderfully precise.
