This provocative red wine 2013 — Lagrein Riserva DOC Castel Ringberg is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Elena Walch masters this red wine in the blooming and picturesque landscape in South Tyrol. Tasting note
A deep, dark ruby red characterizes Lagrein Riserva. Complex, fruity-spicy aromas of red berries and prunes, dried figs, some chocolate and a slightly smoky note. This great plant impresses with its robust tannin and a distinctive, strong structure combined with smooth, soft fullness. A sophisticated interplay of aromas with juice and bite and a long aftertaste.

Vinification
Mash fermentation for about 10 days followed by acid degradation. 20 months of aging in French barriques, followed by bottling and long bottle storage.
