About the wine
We have a special, strong Montepulciano from 2013 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. Blooming and fertile landscapes in Puglia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Castel di Salve conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Combine this Montepulciano with hard cheese or beef.
Tasting note
The scent is dominated by plum and tobacco notes, which are combined with notes of black pepper, cloves and vanilla. Full-bodied, rich taste of fruit jam with a sharp and spicy finish.

Lamb, beef, veal, venison, pork, grilled meat
Vinification
Approx. 15-day maceration with temperature control. 12-month malolactic fermentation and aging in French Allier barrique barrels, then 12-month aging in steel tanks. 5-month bottle aging.
