The oldest wine-growing community in the region, as proven by a vine find from Roman times. The vines grow on red, weathered sandstone soils. This fact is unique in the Basel provider Jura. The exceptional “terroir”, paired with the microclimate, which is positively influenced by the Upper Rhine lowlands, allows us to press a wine of elegance and finesse. Brilliantly clear, bright ruby, expressive bouquet, with the complex fruit aromas of Pinot Noir, which are reminiscent of raspberries, blackcurrants and roses — smooth structure.
