About the wine

If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this outstanding Sangiovese 2015 Montolmo Marche Rosso IGT. Fertile and blooming landscapes of the Marche region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Sant'Isidoro conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpost team promises a culinary experience if you offer this Sangiovese with pasta or pizza.

Tasting note
Medium density ruby red with purple hues. On the nose, aromas of ripe black cherries and spicy notes. Velvety tannins on the palate, medium-weight body and fruity-spicy notes.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta, hearty meat dishes, cheese
Vinification
Traditional mash fermentation followed by ageing for around 24 months in 30 hl wooden barrels.
