About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas San Valero is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the beautiful and picturesque landscape of the Upper Ebro. This provocative Grenache 2014 — Particular Garnacha Old Vine Carinena DO is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This grenache is great to serve with spicy food or burgers with blue cheese.
Tasting note
Color: Medium cherry red with distinctive garnet reflections. Aromatics: Pure, compote-like with notes of ripe plums, elderberries, aromatic aromas, toasty, fine touch of cocoa, spicy-ethereal, cloves and resin. Body: Substantial start, sweet on the palate, beautiful aromas, well-woven acidity, medium-bodied body, long aftertaste. Quality: Characterized by the terroir, youthful on the palate, perfectly developed.
