About the wine

The walled vineyard on the slopes of Auxey-Duresses was planted by monks more than 1000 years ago and cultivated for centuries until much later, in the shadow of the very large appellations, the great potential was neither seen nor exploited. It is only since the Andrieu family bought the property in 2008 (today over 15 ha), committed to the long tradition and uncompromisingly committed to organic and biodynamic farming that the terroir has once again shown itself in all its facets. Bees, sheep and horses instead of heavy equipment and chemicals. “Nature first” even in the old cellars, where wines are produced under Willy Roulendes and are not made, not just briefly enchanting flawless fruit smiles, but the entire terroir of the mythical sites fascinates for a long time...
