About the wine
The “port wine” from Schaffhausen is made from 100% Schaffhausen Blauburgunder grapes.
Tasting note
Dark velvet red Intense bouquet of ripe fruits, cassis, rum pot, marzipan. Full-bodied opulent body, a sweet part that flatters the palate, fiery drinking flow. Very strong taste.
Culinary recommendation
As the crowning glory of a feast, at the end of a beautiful evening.
Vinification
Made according to the traditional port wine method, i.e. mash fermentation, ended by adding homemade marc.
