Vinification
Primitivi AD MIRA or Riserva EXIMIUS — who doesn't know it or has even tasted it? After a few years, we decided to select a new Primitivo di Manduria Riserva, which combines the elegance of AD MIRA and the structure and potency of Eximius. For this new wine, we have chosen a simple name that is easy to remember: ANTIQUS. Antiqus comes from the Latin Antiquus, which means not only antique (the front, time-honored and former), but also important (important, the important), important as its complexity, important, such as the limited production of a few thousand bottles and important, such as its aging in new French barriques for 18 months and Finally important, like its inventor: the famous oenologist Mario Ercolino, the father of the “Superprimitivi”.
