About the wine
With the outstanding white wine 2015 — Riesling Langhe doc Cascine Drago, nuances and accents are redefined. The fertile and picturesque landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Poderi Colla conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Riesling is ideal for serving with mushrooms or Indian cuisine.

Tasting note
Straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, a refined bouquet of flowers and light stone fruit as well as hints of citrus fruits. On the palate, this Riesling is fresh, with a sophisticated acidity and good complexity. The finish is juicy and is supported by acidity combined with subtle minerality.
Culinary recommendation
Suitable as an aperitif, with fish appetizers and poultry terrine.
Vinification
After handpicking in small baskets, the grapes are immediately slightly crushed and mashed for 24 hours at 8 to 10° C. The grape juice is then fermented in steel tanks at 20 to 22° C. After fermentation, the young wine is left on the fine yeast for a few months before bottling.
