About the wine
Luis Cañas is an absolute family person. Hundreds of photos in the aisles of his bodega bear witness to this. And of course, he is proud and happy that his son Juan Luis followed in his footsteps in 1989 after a short trip into the engineering world. The family history continues to write — with such great wines as this Reserva.
Tasting note
The Rioja Reserva DOCa's fruity aromas of black cherry, chocolate and cooked blackberry express a lot of character with a very individual structure. Afterwards, the playful nuances of prune, clove and marmalade reveal their own character. With subdued, pleasantly developed tannins, a strong body and fresh acidity, this fruity red wine presents its masterly quality.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with white meats such as chicken and turkey, stews, vegetable dishes, rice, tapas and semi-aged cheeses.
