Francesco Monchiero is the first to receive the coveted Tre Bicchieri with a wine from the appellation, Arneis Roero - and also the first to receive them twice in a row. Francesco Monchiero grew up here and is more familiar with the region than anyone else. He knows every stone, but in particular the characteristics of the very different locations on the Roero Hills. A tour of his vines is also a lesson on the geology of this region.
