About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Le Vigne di Sammarco is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the sunny and blooming countryside of Puglia. With the first-class Salice Salentino Riserva DOP, which was produced in 2014, you will definitely have a lot of fun.
Tasting note
Dense garnet red. An enchanting scent, reminiscent of ripe, dark berries, spices and black tea, makes you curious what else may come. The maturation with well-dosed use of casks has done the wine extremely good and also enriches it on the palate with spice and aromatic persistence. Amazing amount of wine at this price!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty meat dishes, smoked or stir-fried meat with teriyaki sauce.
