About the wine
The Casa Vinicola Firriato was built in 1985. Under the direction of oenologist Peppe Pellegrino, the two owners Salvatore and Vinzia di Gaetano produce great wines, 75 percent of which are exported to over 30 countries. The Firriato Winery is one of Sicily's most renowned producers and is constantly advertised by the international wine experts. Santagostino Rosso is one of the best wines from this winery.

Tasting note
Deep ruby red. Wonderful aromas of cherries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries combined with notes of mint and spices. On the palate, the delicate yet complex tannins surprise the wine, giving the wine a long and smooth finish.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for red wine is slightly chilled 16°-18°C.
