About the wine
The vineyard on Lake Biel is the largest in the canton of Bern and is located between Ligerz and Le Landeron, above La Neuveville and Schafis. As early as 1528, the City and Republic of Bern operated the vineyard and ceded it to the newly created municipality of Bern on the occasion of the separation of property in 1852.

Tasting note
A fresh, fruity and light white wine. Yellow with green reflections. Subtle bouquet The typical Sauvignon Blanc aromas, citrus fruits and vegetable notes (geranium, green pepper) dominate the aroma. Add some pear and minerality. Dry on the palate. The acid is still quite present and shapes the medium-bodied structure. In the back smell, above all, citrus fruit and the greenish aromas. Short aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Asian dishes.
