About the wine
We have a special, powerful Shiraz from 2013 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. Fertile and sunny landscapes of the coastal region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the South African winery Glen Carlou Vineyard conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. The Flaschenpost team guarantee a culinary experience when you serve this shiraz with roasted vegetables or venison.

Tasting note
The nose of this wine is wide-ranging with berry fruits on the front and a lavender-scented background, which is accompanied by sweet, warm spices. Fine black peppercorns, cumin and a touch of star anise add complexity to the aroma. Wonderfully structured tannins on the palate show a balanced wine that has an unmistakable connection to the Rhône in a style with an unmistakable connection. Maintaining the natural acidity ensures excellent freshness on the harmonious yet strong middle palate.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fried pork belly and rich braised meats.
