About the wine
Family-run Badet Clément & Cie. The oenologist Catherine Delaunay-Favre is responsible for the beautiful Les Jamelles line. Their wines are very typical of the variety and character, yet consumer-friendly, yet perfectly reflect the terroir on which they grew. Languedoc. Vin de Pays d'Oc. This Syrah is the best proof of that. The grapes come from the area of Nîmes, Béziers and the Vallée de l'Aude near Carcassonne.
Tasting note
A light, fruity, balanced ruby red wine with an intense berry bouquet (blackberry, cassis), complemented by aromas of cherry and plums and some spicy vanilla notes. The fruit aromas are also very present on the palate with a slight opening sweetness, supported by a soft, full and incredibly harmonious structure.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Syrah Vin de Pays d'Oc goes perfectly with barbecue, roasted vegetables and game. Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C.
