About the wine
The winemaker from the South African winery Warwick has absolutely mastered his craft. Tasting note
Aromas of green apple and pear pop out of the glass, interspersed with pineapple and grapefruit. The palate is followed by apple and lime notes with a creamy texture and a fresh finish with citrus aromas.
Culinary recommendation
Goes very well with a chicken korma or baked butternut squash with nutmeg and ricotta.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the early morning hours to preserve the aromas and freshness. They are then destemmed, comminuted and pressed directly without contact with the shells. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel fermenters, with 8% of the juice being fermented in oak barrels. The wine matures on the fine yeast for 100 days and then blended.
