About the wine
We have a special, strong Cabernet Sauvignon from 2014 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. Sunny and blooming landscapes in Sardinia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Cantina Siddura conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Cabernet Sauvignon with Gruyère burgers or pizza with mushrooms.

Vinification
The region of Sardinia, with its unique scenarios and beautiful landscape, is not only the birthplace for great red wines made from autochthonous grapes, but is now also appreciated for its high soil value, as it is ideal for cultivating various national and international grape varieties. It is able to create wines with an exceptional structure and elegance, such as the Tìros. Tìros in Etruscan means “wine”; this name was chosen to underline the importance of this unique top wine. Of course, the Sangiovese and the Cabernet Sauvignon are atypical for this beautiful Mediterranean island, but the courage, ingenuity and desire of the Tuscan oenologist Dino Dini, who also owes his knowledge to his mentor, Giacomo Tachis (father of Sassicaia), testify with this wine what the Sardinian soil has on oenological level can offer. Tìros is definitely Dino Dini's “child.” His long-cherished dream comes true with this great, limited edition wine. Since the first tasting, Tìros has won us over like rarely any other wine: ruby red elegant dress; very complex on the palate with notes of ripe fruit; perfectly balanced in the finish, harmonious, velvety, but above all with an exceptional persistence; extremely elegant. Yes, the tìros will certainly not leave you “cold”! acidity 5.4 g/l.
