About the wine

The story of Tosca begins in 2000 with the restoration of the first terraces of Ca' Lupo and Bema and the creation of new vineyards that are immediately grown using organic farming methods. Today, there are 9 hectares of vineyards, divided into five plots, which lie between 350 and 520 m above sea level. All vineyards are worked by hand. Ecological practices are combined with other techniques to preserve soil fertility naturally. By careful hand picking, only the best grapes with low yields (approx. 50 ql/ha) are selected to obtain characteristic wines with a strong personality. Tribàle is a natural wine, in which fermentation takes place in the bottle with the addition of the must from the same harvest only. Nothing is added to the must, i.e. no yeasts, no sugar, no sulfites. The secondary fermentation takes place regularly and reaches the desired pressure, resulting in a pleasantly fine and delicate perlage. A wine that can be consumed at an astonishing rate.
