A true Grand Cru from 800 meters above sea level and the top wine from the Cottanera s portfolio! The vines, on average, 70 years old, come from Cru Zottorinoto. Only 2000 bottles of it are produced. After aging for 24 months in French oak barrels, the wine matures for a further 2 to 3 years in the bottle. The result is an immensely powerful, dense Nerello Mascalese Riserva with a powerful tannin framework. The dark fruit and the powerful style are brought into harmony by a fine acidity.
