About the wine
This distinctive red wine 2011 — 65 Zweigelt Reserve DAC is a triumph in the truest sense of the word down to the last drop! To get a feel for the mountainous beauty of the landscape, there is no way around this red wine, which the Austrian Weingut Goldenits masters with a keen sense of texture. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Zweigelt is ideal to be served with onion roast or boiled beef.
Tasting note
Ruby garnet with violet reflections, beautiful cherry nose, berry fruit on the palate and soft tannins, creamy texture, harmonious and round on the finish.

Goes well with dark, strong meats, game, cheese specialities
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. After a maceration period of 14 days, the grape must is fermented at controlled temperatures. The ageing takes place in used barriques and large wooden barrels.
