About the wine
After 12 hours on the mash, the Grüner Veltliner was fermented in concrete eggs and aged in wood. Traminer, Neuburger and Welschriesling fermented on the mash and then placed in 500 barrels to mature. The wine was not sulfurized until it was bottled in May 2016 and bottled unfiltered with some of its fine yeast in order to be able to be stored.

Tasting note
Light cloudy amber, orange reflexes. Candied orange zest, a touch of dried apricots, fine herbal seasoning. Medium body, white stone fruit nuances, delicate nutty components. Sticks well, lemony touch in the finale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with raw fish, raw ham, mushroom dishes and braised vegetables as well as Austrian offal cuisine.
