Chardonnay Graubünden AOC 2022 - Obrecht/Weingut zur Sonne

About the wine

The former Weingut zur Sonne has existed since 1849, when it was run as usual as a mixed business at that time. It was not a winery in the classical or modern sense, but much more a farm, including vines. With few vines, as Francisca Obrecht explained to us! Only the 3rd generation bottled the first wine and began to focus on winemaking. Christian and Francisca Obrecht run the winery, which they renamed Weingut Obrecht, in the 5th generation. Even during the smooth handover from Christian's parents, they brought in many new approaches and ideas. She in the vineyard, he in the wine cellar. It has remained that way to this day. Today, they cultivate their 7.5 ha of vineyards biodynamically and are Demeter certified. They buy 7 ha organically produced by relatives. In the wine cellar, during vinification, everything goes biodynamically. They then clearly separate the wines into different lines.

Tasting note
Le Corbussier - Puristic, timeless, proven. A golden ratio wine, lots of freshness of citrus and bergamot, flattering fruit of yellow apple and peach, upbeat spice of nutmeg and toasted bread crumb, all crystal clear and pure, with lots of grip and cool joy. point.
