About the wine

Château Galoupet is a Cru Classé de Provence within the Côtesde Provence appellation and consists of 77 hectares of protected forests and 69 hectares of vineyards. This future biodiversity sanctuary was acquired by Moët Hennessy in 2019. After almost 3 years of completely refounding the company to create sophisticated wine expressions for this terroir: Château Galoupet Cru ClasséRosé 2021 in organic quality is the first vintage to be published.

Château Galoupet Cru Classé
Nose: Complex and intense: white fruits (peach), citrus fruits, bitter almonds, complemented by delicate floral aromas. Palate: Full-bodied, complex with a long & mineral finish that is reminiscent of the Mediterranean sea breeze that blows through our vineyards.
A remarkably versatile wine: from an aperitif to a spicy green curry to lamb chops with rosemary - the Château Galoupet Cru Classé Rosé 2021 is a wine that accompanies you every step of your meal.
We harvest, press and vinify plot by plot. The purchase of a new press in 2021 has enabled us to better protect our grapes from oxidation and preserve the purity of the pulp aromas through gentle pressing; the installation of a new barrel cellar, which allows temperature control during fermentation, has also enabled us to better translate our terroirs. 38% of the wines used for the final blend were vinified and stored in 600-liter barrels (50% new for 4-5 months and 50% 1 year old), the final assemblage took place on 25. It takes place in January.
