About the wine
With this strong red wine 2016 — Cinsault Old Bush Vine, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Fertile and magnificent landscapes of the coastal region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the South African winery Darling Cellars conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpost team promises a culinary experience if you serve this cinsault with hearty meat dishes or game.

Tasting note
An irresistible, balanced red wine with a bright ruby red color and sour cherries, strawberries and a hint of oak on the nose. Aromas of red pepper, spices, raspberries and notes of sweet vanilla, followed by a nice fresh acidity on the palate with a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
This wine goes very well with roasted lamb shanks, Moroccan lamb or spicy curry stews.
Vinification
Darling Cellars Old Bush Vine comes from special old bush vines that have been selected for their uniqueness of distinctive terroir aromas. The vineyards are grown in the best terroir for the respective grape variety. These grapes are vinified separately in the cellar to preserve their natural quality and uniqueness. Passion and respect for these old vines has led to these beautiful and special wines. The Cinsault is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels.
