About the wine
This Gamay draws its strength and energy from the loamy, crooked soils in Burgundy. The winemaker from the French winery Domaine Jacques Prieur transforms it into a real treat with great emotion. If we can offer something special for Easter 2019, it's this powerful Gamay 2015 — Coeur de Terroirs Moulin à Vent AOP. Flaschenpost team guarantees a culinary experience when you offer this gamay with cheese or hash browns.

Tasting note
Shiny ruby Intensely fruity on the nose, small black berries and fine, sweet-looking spiciness. The wine is open and playful. Juicy on the palate, with good power. Very noticeable tannins of good quality. Medium-length, well-structured finish.
Culinary recommendation
Delicious - instead of a pinot noir - with coq au vin.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand with 15 kg boxes. Once at the winery, another check takes place at the “table de tri” before 100% of the grapes are destemmed. The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks and concrete tanks of 50 hl, depending on the terroir on which the vines grow. After fermentation, the young wine is aged for 12 months in concrete tanks and partly in classic fûtes.
