If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this discreet Viognier 2017 — Condrieu AC Les Cassines. The winemaker from the French winery Paul Jaboulet Aîné greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside of the Côtes du Rhône. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Viognier is great to serve with potatoes or roasted poultry with lemon sauce.

Tasting note
Intense nose of ripe apricots, acacia and floral notes. Soft, very creamy start, good freshness with a nice balance, concentrated and melty, with a long aromatic aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with charcuterie and seafood.
Vinification
Reinsortger Viognier is carefully harvested by hand. After the whole grape pressing, fermentation takes place in steel tanks, concrete eggs and French oak barrels. The wine then matures in fermentation tanks for 8 months.
