Tasting note
This green Veltliner delights with its delicate apple fruit and aromas of white fruit underpinned by a touch of blossoms and citrus scests. On the palate, the lively acid structure, the fruity and extremely mineral nature and the long finish are pleasing. A top-quality Grüner Veltliner for the best hours of the year.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with starters, poultry, fish dishes, seafood, Austrian specialities such as boiled beef with horseradish, cold meat platters, ripe cheeses.
Vinification
The grapes for the Hundspoint grow on loess soils in the famous Hundspoint location. Only just 4000 kg/hectare are read here. After an 8-hour maceration period, fermentation and aging take place in stainless steel tanks.
