About the wine

Villa Della Torre is one of the rarest and most valuable jewels of the Italian Renaissance. It is a work by Masters Giulio Romano and Michele Sanmicheli, built between the end of 1400 and 1550 on the model of Domus Romana. Bought in 2008 by Marilisa Allegrini today Villa della Torre is the host of Wine & Art Relais. The winery is a project based on outstanding terroirs with a strong wine identity: Valpolicella Classica and Lugana and is followed by the daughters of Marilisa, Caterina and Carlotta. Lugana di Villa della Torre is a wine that can be cheerful and light, but also structured and deep. The interpretation depends on the wine characteristics, which combine freshness with complexity through maturation “sur lie” for a period of 6 months.
