About the wine
The winemaker from the South African winery Jacaranda greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside. Treat your family and friends at Easter dinner with this dominant red wine 2016 — Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon Down to Earth. The Flaschenpöstler promise a dining experience when you serve this Cabernet Sauvignon with Ribeye Steak or Gruyère Burger.

Tasting note
This South African red wine Jacaranda Down to Earth delights with an intense scent of wild berries, mint and some vanilla. The Jacaranda red wine is opulent on the palate. Its velvety, soft tannins together with a very catchy structure make it a perfect drink for any occasion!
Culinary recommendation
Very nice wine that goes very well with braised dishes.
Vinification
Wine of Origin Wellington, which was formerly part of the Paarl wine region, was declared an independent wine district in 2012. Granite soils and a Mediterranean climate characterize this region. Yields of between 6-8 tons/hectare, sunny days with cool nights and a light breeze from the Atlantic guarantee excellent quality of the grapes. This Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
