About the wine
With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Serpaia di Endrizzi masters this red wine in the blooming and fertile Tuscan countryside. If you want to surprise a wine connoisseur, then with this outstanding Sangiovese 2015 — Morellino di Scansano DOC! Tasting note
The typical aromas of Sangiovese flow from the glass — violets, cherries and blue wild berries make you want the first sip, on the palate the Morellino has a well-balanced structure and a soft body, again dark fruit, complemented by an exciting spiciness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with specialities from Italian cuisine, fiorentina, osso buco and fine barbecues.
Vinification
After contact with mash for around 20 days, it is aged for 8 months in large Slovenian oak barrels and a further 2 months for refinement in the bottle.
