With the Or Ange, Jean has dared to do something completely new. He had three typical Languedoc grape varieties macerated in a tank together with the four noble grape varieties from Alsace and then fermented them together. The maceration and the associated washing out of dyes and trubs gives the wine its typical, slightly orange color, which also gives it its name. On the palate, the wine has an exciting and very spicy side with lots of herbal aromas, great and very fine tannins and great drinking fun.
