About the wine
Blooming and fertile Emilia-Romagnaa landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Fattoria Zerbina conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it is this outstanding red wine 2013 Pietramora Romagna Sangiovese Riserva Marzeno DOC. Flaschenpöstler tip: Pair this Sangiovese with pizza or beef.
Tasting note
Rich ruby red, pleasant scent of dark cherries and blackberries, dense and compact on the palate with a nice structure, soft, slightly sweet tannins. A great Sangiovese, which is a serious alternative to the classics from Tuscany.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with meat dishes with sauce, grilled seafish
Vinification
The wine is fermented in Tonneaux and later aged in both tonneaux and French barriques for 12 months.
