With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Kompassus in the sunny landscape of Bairrada masters this red wine. With the special Private Collection DOC Bairrada from 2013, you will positively surprise your friends.

Tasting note
The Private Collection is full of character, aromatic complexity and redberry fruit. You can find the typical notes of resin, pepper and spices with very round, polished tannins in this wine. Fantastically structured and deep, yet elegant and fresh.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, venison, grill & mushrooms.
Vinification
100% Baga was harvested in mid-October at perfect ripeness with good acidity. Fermentation took place at controlled temperatures in open fermentation tanks. The wine then matured for 18 months in 400l used oak barrels.
