About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Bottega is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this sparkling wine, which originates in the lush and beautiful Veneto countryside. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it is this dominant sparkling wine — Prosecco DOC Rosé Pink Gold Alexander. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you offer this sparkling wine with crustaceans or oysters.
Tasting note
Bright pearlescent pink, fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, complex scents with distinct floral notes of jasmine, elderflower and rose bud. Plus fuzzy notes of pears and white peaches. The finish is followed by a slightly spicy note, which confirms the complexity.

Vinification
Vinified separately. The Glera grapes come from the province of Veneto and are harvested in mid-September, while the Pinot Noir grapes come from the Prosecco DOC region at the end of August. (Pinot about 12-16 hours of skin contact) The two wines are blended and fermented using the Martinotti method at a controlled temperature of 15-16° C for approx. 2 months.
