About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2022, it's this outstanding white wine 2021 — Ried Kremser Kremsleithen Riesling Kremstal DAC. You can describe nature in Lower Austria with words such as mountainous or hilly. However, the Austrian winery Winzer Krems is trying to express the beauty of its home country with this white wine. We think he succeeded! Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Riesling is ideal for serving with shrimps or Indian cuisine.
Tasting note
Brilliant lemon yellow with grey-green reflections. Distinct bouquet of light stone fruit, backed by fine exotic notes of papaya and a fine balsamic touch, slightly mineral with a vegetal twist. Lively, slightly sparkling first drink, playful acidity with exotic and sweet-looking fruit components on the palate, a long finish with delicate minerality. It is already a drinking pleasure, but will continue to refine over the next few years.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish risotto or fried fish and bright vegetable stir-fries.
