About the wine
With the outstanding Sangiovese 2011 — Ronco delle Ginestre Forli IGT, nuances and accents are redefined. The winemaker from the Italian winery Castelluccio Azienda Agricola masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the blooming and fertile landscape of Emilia-Romagna. Flaschenpost team promises a culinary experience when you serve this Sangiovese with pasta or beef.

Tasting note
Rich ruby red. Diverse, intense nose with berry aromas of sour cherries, underscored by vanilla, coffee and roasted notes. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied and typically Sangiovese with a juicy structure, yet velvety at the same time. The finish is very long-lasting and aromatic.
Culinary recommendation
A treat with red meat, whether roasted or braised.
Vinification
The grapes from the Ronco delle Ginestre vineyard are gently crushed after harvesting and immediately mashed. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the young wine is aged for 14 months in 350 l oak barrels. Subsequent maturation in bottle for approx. twelve months.
